Vibram is known for making extremely durable outsoles, and every Furoshiki shoe is built from the sole up. Called “The Wrapping Sole”, our Furoshiki shoes pay tribute to the Japanese tradition of wrapping, holding and carrying various objects in cloth. Similar in concept to swaddling a newborn, except your feet benefit are wrapped in the comfort and compression of the soft, stylish Furoshiki shoes. The unique design makes all Furoshiki extremely portable, versatile, and easy to get on and off. Great for walking through the city, relaxing around the house, or traveling via car, bus, or plane, Vibram Furoshiki will comfortably fit your feet wherever you walk.

Sizing for Furoshiki is entirely unique. The tightness of the wrapping technology is a matter of personal preference. Please use the sizing information as a general guide in determing your size.

The New Furoshiki EVO has a thicker sole for extra durability and grip, without losing the great flex and barefoot feel of Furoshiki footwear.

This easy on footwear gently wraps your feet whilst its design keeps them very secure on your feet. The minimalist sole with great flex and zero heel drop offer a more natural foot to ground connection.

The updated Furoshiki Evo is now individually sized for better fit and fit and function. Adapting the sole design, upper form and fit, as well as the toe box.

The initial concept for this type of footwear was inspired by the Japanese custom of packaging items by wrapping them in cloth fabric. Furoshiki is the only sole on the market that wraps around the entire foot.

The Vibram Furoshiki EVO wrapping upper is constructed with stretch fabric, it will anatomically fit nicely on the majority of foot types and the velcro hook and loop closure system allows for a quick, easy fit. This upper fabric is comprised of 28% Elastane (Stretch Rubber / Lycra), 72% PA (polyamide & nylon). The fabrics used in the Vibram Furoshiki Icon are made in Italy by sensitive fabrics. Patented and renowned for comfort, breathability easy care and wrinkle free.

The top quality Vibram sole is constructed from the durable yet highly flexible Vibram XS City rubber compound.

The Vibram Furoshiki EVO can be machine or hand washed on a cool wash. They are quick drying and should be allowed to air drip dry. Do not use a direct heat source for drying such as a hair dryer or radiator.
